What are the prerequisites for writing the NCLEX or REx-PN in Canada?
To write the NCLEX or REx-PN, you must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and apply to the provincial nursing regulatory body. You’ll also need to submit identity documents, transcripts, and complete the NCAS (for internationally educated nurses).
How do I get my ATT (Authorization to Test)?
Once your nursing regulatory body approves your eligibility, they’ll notify Pearson VUE to issue your ATT. Nurse Pulse Academy provides full support in helping you prepare and apply correctly.
What IELTS score is required for Canadian RN registration?
Most provinces require a minimum of 7.0 in each band (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) on the Academic IELTS for internationally educated nurses.
How long does the exam process take from start to finish?
Depending on your documentation and province, the process can take anywhere from 3 to 9 months, including evaluation, eligibility, and exam scheduling.
